The Story

If you were here between 2014-2021, you may remember a little company called Spring Hill Bakery. Some creative weirdo stay-at-home mom named Sarah started that soon-to-be big deal out of her home kitchen.

You may have found her at a farmers market, dealing tasty carbs in a Tractor Supply Co. parking lot, watched her make cookies live on Today in Nashville, stood in line on a Saturday morning at her storefront bakery, bought her cookbook Baking with the Bread Lady, or ordered Ding Dong Ditch Cookies & Cinnamon Rolls from her during the pandemic.

You may also remember that the OMG Rolls were originally a specialty cinnamon roll of the day on the menu at Spring Hill Bakery. Fun was had. Awards were won. It was a whole thing.

The name, OMG Cinnamon Rolls actually came from customers coming in and literally saying, “Oh my god,” upon witnessing the glory of the big-as-your-face warm gooey carb-filled creations laid out before them. And then uttering OMG again upon first bite. So the name stuck and a spin off brand was born. The Instagram page served as THE PLACE to reveal what the “OMG Roll of the Day” was gonna be every morning right before we opened.

So, like, how did we get to here? Well first, Sarah needed to learn that burning the candle at both ends at hyper speed without taking care of herself was a recipe for disaster. So she took a few years to sleep, shake the Etch-a-Sketch of her life, and start from scratch. Again. But this time with an established reputation, wisdom, healthy boundaries, and full control of her own businesses. (Check out Spring Hill Creative for her day job).

That brings us to NOW. Which is still being planned for maximum success AND sustainability. Which means starting out small again and growing intentionally so OMG Cinnamon Rolls can become a longterm thing. More details to come.

Oh BT-dubs, Hi. It’s me. I’m Sarah. Welcome to the next chapter. It’s gonna be freakin awesome.
